So the Thunder advances to the finals. As much as I hate it (because they also defeated the Lakers), I gotta say that they have without a doubt proven that youth is better than experience. Most people would assume that speed is the deal when someone mentions the Thunder team and its youth. However as I saw the game that transpired earlier today, it seems that the "youth" does not only pertain to speed.
When speaking about youth and the Thunder team, we're talking about the hustle, the hunger and the desire to win. The Thunder made the Spurs look like an old helpless team in the fourth quarter. It looked like the spurs didn't knew what they were doing, very much different from what they are during their 20+ games run before losing four straight games to the Thunder.
If all of my future predictions goes well, we'll be seeing The OKC Thunder against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. I can't say that the same thing will happen to the Celtics because they're old and slow. The Celtic team are very resilient and they are proving it right now. Anyway, we'll see what happens in the near future. 2-3 days tops.
